unhook battery .pull air bag. pull steering wheel , then lock plate with lock plate puller.then turn signal swich then the lock cyliner bolt , slide lock cyl. out but must have matching antitheft key code in the key or it will not start you will probly have to get a locksmith or the dealer to read the old key then get a new key that has that code even know the new lock cyl has a new key with it the code probley won't match
most cylinders come with new tumblers to be put into it so you reuse the original key. Just pull the tumblers out of the original cylinder and pull out one at a time the each have a number on them match with the correct new one. very small springs and ball bearings be very careful do one at a time and do in a spot that is easy to find small pieces if they go flying or are dropped.
