Just got tires mounted, what a pain! I got home and put right on with no problems. They are close, maybe .5 - .75 (a finger), but no mods and no rubbing.

*pics just uploaded, might be 24 hours till you can see?

Doug I guess that if the 285/60/15 fit I should be OK with a set of 275/60/15 Mickey Thompson drag radial's on 15/8 Weld Racing wheels, on my 67 Right?

Jack 4.5" back space ? then absolutely.

The 285's I'm running are American Racers and are SHT's (short) 27.4x11.5 so they are close and at full droop hit the shocks. No big deal IMO.

I have about 3" or so between top of tire and wheelwell. Haven't got to "test launch" yet , but doubt the rear will sink 3+".

67 & 68's are round wheelwells and 69's are squared off. Thats where/why they tuck.

How can I get a look at these tires? Is there a web site I could go to or did you buy them direct?
