Finally got around to finishing my valve seal replacement and thought while I had the headers off I would test the compression. Here are the readings. This is for a 302DZ.
1=155
3=170
5=170
7=155

2=170
4=160
6=170
8=120

Gave #8 as squirt of 20-50 oil and compression only rose to 130. Can I assume that the rings are ok and I have either a valve, valve guide or gasket issue? Could this be a intake manifold gasket issue?
