I recently installed a new 570 Holley Street Avenger on my stock 67 327. After installing it and performing the necessary adjustments, I have had difficult time starting the car when it is hot. The car starts fine when it is cold. The mixture is close to perfect and the floats allow a trickle over the threads when the sight glasses are removed. The only way you can start it when it is hot is by cracking the throttle slightly. The base timing is set at 14 degrees as recommended by a technician from Crane as the points have been removed and converted to an electronic module (XR-i). It has an Accel Super coil and all appears to well here. Any suggestions on what could be causing the problem:confused:
