Decided to build a supercharged (ATI D-1SC) SBC stroker motor and one of the first things I needed to know is my stock block up to the task.
I found a website with some casting numbers however it didn't give me the information I was looking for.
Front casting numbers T1130HN and the back : 3932388
The site I was searching said my block could either be a 2 or 4 bolt.

I wouldn't even attempt to build this motor without a 4 bolt.

Does anyone have any more information on this casting number?

This engine is a 69 I think.

Good chance it's a 4 bolt,The HN suffix is listed as a passenger car 350 with 300 HP and high performance.It is a 69 block.My guess would be for a 4 bolt

A 2 bolt drilled for splayed steel caps, is much stonger than a stock 4 bolt.
Just something to consider, if you want to make any real serious power.
Thats how I did mine. Now I'm pushing those limits, and wish I had gone with an aftermarket block, Dart, World, or Bowtie.

With a two bolt I would have to have machine work done to splay the caps, and I was told that after I pay for everything I might as well bought a new Dart block.

Bill, I would love to pick your brain about this build. I ahve so many questions.
