I want to try and find a date coded block for my 67 I know the 302 327 and 350 all use the same number 3892657 is ther any other numbers to look for.
I know there are numbersand letters on the deck of the block but if the have been shaved that wont help and you never know if someone would tell the trouth about the bore size.
Thanks Bob

Bob:

That is the only block that I know of used for the 67 Camaro V8 that has been documented.

The 3903352 casting was also used for the 327 in 67 Camaros.

The 3352 was indeed used on the 327 but not sure it was ever documented in the Camaro for 67.

1967 302, 327, and 350’s used the 3892657 block but the 350 blocks were machined different to accept the new 350 crankshaft with larger mains. A good machine shop should be able to convert any small journal “657” block to accept medium journal main bearings and any common 350 crank.

302, 327 and 350 are all 4" bore engines.The crank stroke was different 3" =302, 3.25" = 327, 3.48 = 350.
