After I re-installed the original rear wiring harness, I noticed that the rear parking lights are not working when the headlight switch is activated in either parking or healight position. The brake lights, turn signals, hazards, and back up lights all work properly. Where do I start?

Check the brown wire at the body connector in the drvr kick panel for parking light voltage or at the light sockets.

Headlamp switch supplies p/light power for rear as '67 has no front p/lights with headlamps on, but do have front's with parking light position selected.

Make sure the bulbs have nice rounded center contacts to mate with the buttons in the socket. Might need a little cleaning.

Good idea regarding the brown wire, thanks. I wonder if it is the switch as my headlight door open, but will not close. I have read that a faulty or dirty switch can cause that problem.
