Ok i have my eye on a 67 convertable.I also know where theres a 68 RS parts car.I want an RS convertable. Can i use the 68RS equipment on the 67?I know the headlights are different, electric vs vaccum.can they still work?Should i not bother with the parts car and just get the conversion kit from Ricks? What else is need besides what comes in the kit.I would need the door/Quarter moldings and what else? Thanks.

The conversion kit might be cheaper than the parts car...unless you can sell off the other parts to make back your money. Comes down to economics. There is no reason that '68 RS parts wont work in a '67 as long as you are not a purist on "correct" parts. Hell, my car doesn't even have the vacuum actuators or cannister anymore. I just open the headlight doors manually if needed...though I have been thinking about putting in a trick electric cable/pulley system that actuates from a hidden switch
!

I'm sure they would fit. Be advised you do not need new fenders. The original ones will work, the only difference is RS ones have a tap you bolt the light frame to. You can buy just the tab and weld it in. It's pretty easy to do.
