Hey everyone, excuse me for not searching deeper, but short on time.

Fitting my 67 stock convertible with foose knuckle wheels. 17x8 front and 17x10 rears. Had anyone ran this set up in the rear? Any fitment issues? Was going to go with a 255/45/17 rear tire. Thanks and happy memorial day to those who served.

About the largest wheel I have seen on a 67 Camaro with factory quarters is 17 x 9.5 with 5.5 back spacing. The tire size is 275/40-17. I have read where some say they fit with no problems. Some say they will rub going into an uneven parking lot entrance. But 17 x 10 will definitely not fit without mini-tubs.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I was gonna do 17x9.5, but the guy at MHT said they couldn't do 17x9.5 in that wheel and would have to be 17x10. He was checking with their engineer, and I asked about fitment..Just waiting on reply. I may just go 17x8 front and 17x9 rear. Thinking 255/45/17 for the rear. I like the 275/40/17 size, but not if it will rub.

Thanks again.

They can't do a 17x9, so, I'm going with 17x7 front and 17x8 rears. I am thinking about nitto nt555 tires. ..235/45/17 front and 255/40or45/17 rears. ..275 series needs at least a 9 inch rim according to website. Anyone see anything wrong with this setup? Thanks! Baer brakes are next.
