Here are the first batch of pictures of Ron Atchley's car he is restoring. This is the car that matched the motor found in a T-bucket rod that james427 bought. I will post pictures more as Ron gives them to me.
This first set has pictures of the car several years ago sitting in Arizona about 1 1/2 mile from the Mexican border. The story was that an uncle gave this car to a nephew when he graduated high school. Not sure of the year. Another relative bought the car from the nephew (knowing the value of the car) and took it to Michigan where he intended to restore it. Once the buyer found out the cost to buy original parts for restoration he decided to sell it. That is how Ron found it.
There is a picture of an Arizona title showing the month/year the car was first registered. This is what lead Ron to believe it was a non-California car, so be built a CE motor for it w/o smog.
For those of you that are starting here, this is the link to the beginning of the story. http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=178858
