I'm in the process of installing a new Stereo unit in my 68 with factory AC. I removed the AC/Heater controls to have a little more room and clean lub it as well. There are 2 plugs to it, but I have also discovered another plug that was not connected to anything. I'm not sure if I disconnected it while taking things apart or if it just an unused circuit for just Heater. I find no place to pug it in. The wire diagram show it going to a heater switch. The diagram for Heater/AC does not show the 2 connector I disconnected. Anyway, does anyone know if this plug is just part of a harness that's not used if you have Factory AC?

Well this is going to be a short post as I have solved my own question. I found the other end of this harness behind the glovebox. I looked in the assemble manual and found the wire diagram for the AC. Also found an assembly note that badicly says to cut this plug off and discard the harness when installing the AC. Looks like the assembly guys didn’t do that.
