every thing is brand new you name it firewall out its new ive tryed a few diff head light switches got new relays in case they were bad,tryed new diode,i have a dead short some how what happens with all the relays hooked up right, the breaker keeps kicking out,now if i unplug brown and blue wire from relay 2 with key on every thing works right as soon as i turn key off ,breaker kicks out matter if lights on or off ,, i can not work this out and im trying to help a friend out been fighting this for a few weeks now any help i would be so thankful for it :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

First, double check that all limit switches and relays are connected properly. My webpage http://retro-electro.net/FAQ.html has pictures of the correct relay wiring as well as a list of the correct limit switch wiring. Next, check the wiring against the wire diagram here: http://www.pozziracing.com/Media/67rswire.jpg . If that does not work I would follow GM’s RS troubleshooting guide, which I can fax to you if needed. By the way, I know Rick’s First Gen makes a 67 RS harness which fits in a 68 bulkhead, is that what you used?

the harness was to convert from vac to electric ,came from amercian wiring,, i think the harness is wrong my self ive been on your site before i posted this all wires are right ,, btw that is very helpful ty ..i was also thinking what runs the doors for lights is not in the harness at bulkhead its pretty much LB/BR right correct me if im wrong ill find out what he got tomarrow and post it and ty so much for help ,,,ken
