All of the discusions about 68 dashs sort of got me thinking. I have decided to have the original reconditioned in my 68 SS and not try the repo route. But this leads to another question. Is there anyone who reconditions steering wheels? My car has the plastic wheel with the small SS emblem in the middle and it has seen better days. It has the usual cracks in the rim, worn rim and faded vinyl. I know that Eastwood makes a kit to repair the cracks in the rim but I would like the entire wheel redone. Anyone know a company that does this. Otherwise I shall have to take the wheel off and replace it with a wood one which I had rather not do. Thanks

JamesK,
Let me know if you didn't find a place to do the steering wheel resto. I don't know if you get Hemmings Motor News or not? There are some good places in there that just specialize in steering wheel restoration. I know that some have been in the business for alot of years. Let me know?
