Hey guys, couple problems I'm dealing with on my 69.

I'm running a built bottom end 6.0 with a 76mm turbo, T56, 12 bolt posi. Needless to say, with such a small turbo, it spools so quick I'm having a hard time keeping the power on the ground. I can break it loose in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd on the street. I HAD 275/40 18 Nitto Invo's on the back running at 22psi. I have sold them now and am looking for ideas to get the traction back. Car is estimated at 600hp to the ground and is 3100#'s without me in it. Any suggestions or experience?

LOL... ya Cameron, good luck !! Anything over 500 RWhp in these cars and your going to lose traction.
Change your gearing, mini tub the car and keep your right foot off the GO pedal ... (8

Welcome, Cameron, to the Club.

First problem: install wider UHP tires, a lower tread rating. Add 50-100 lbs in trunk.
Second problem: ?

Can the tires break loose in fourth?
