Hello,
I am wondering if 69 non SS camaros came with 350s and 350 emblems. I recently saw a primered 69 camaro with a 350. All the emblems were in a bag and they included 350 emblems that go up front next to the headlights. I am not sure if those emblems would have gone on that car since it wasn't a super sport. Thanks for the help

Yes. I believe the 350 was an option on any Camaro in 69.

Yes, there were two other 350 cubic inch engines available during the 69 model year besides the 350/300HP L48 SS engine.

Early production had the LM1 350/255HP engine, Later production had the L65 350/250HP engines. The LM1 was a 4 bbl carbed engine that replaced the 67 and 68 L30 350/275HP engine. The LM1 itself was replaced midway thru production (around January 69) with the 2 bbl L65 engine.

I had a white over azure turq with 350/255 hp 4 speed car. Pretty basic with standard interior. It had the 350 emblems.

I really appreciate the help. He has the original sales slip but it only said 250 hp engine, not the size. I take it from the comments that the engine in there would have been the second one used in 69, the L65. How is this engine in terms of performance compared to the others?

I had a 69 Daytona Yellow RS with the LM1 engine..It was a great car. It came with a chrome air cleaner lid and had the large fuel filter and 4 BBL. It looked much like an SS 350. The only downfall was that the LM! was only available with the PG (unless a manual trans) because the 2 bbl version came out the same time the TH350 did, and the LM1 was axed!

Just an info update & FYI
. TH350's were available in 1969 with LM1 motors. I have owned a 12C 69 Camaro with the LM1 and TH350 (PoP documented).

Here's an excerpt from the CRG files:

The THM350 wasn't officially offered as an option (RPO) until 1969, although some 1968 327/275 Camaros did manage to get this 3-speed automatic transmission as part of an internal GM test fleet. The only way to identify if your 1968 car has an original THM350 is by transmission date code. When the THM350 was released in 1969 it outsold the Powerglide 78,849 units to 66,423. However it was only applied to 6-cylinder and small block V-8 (Z28 excepted) cars, as the high-torque Camaro big-block engines were too powerful for the THM350. The transmission model number comes from the nominal rated torque, 350 lb-ft of torque.
