I have a 69 Camaro (Racing) - that I have converted the front drums to disc brakes. I am still running drums on the rear.
I have bought the proportioning valve and new brake lines as instructed to do so when performing this conversion. Now I am not able to get any pressure to stay in the front brakes. I can pump them about 15 to 20 times and get pressure but once I let off - they won't hold pressure.

My question to you is - what master cylinder should be used? I bought a new master cylinder (as instructed) so I don't have my original that was on the car.

My next question: I was also told that I would only need the proportioning valve as well and nothing else - is this the case or am I missing something else?
