I contacted a company that manufacturs solendoids used in many applications. They have some similar parts to the 69 washer unit we need on our RS cars but not the whole package with plastic housing and tubes that are bolted to it. They said to tool up a new mold to make those parts that then would fit their open solenoid, would cost over $14,000 before going to production. I guess that answers the question of having them reproduced for aftermarket. Wanted to post this so others wont wonder about options for those pesky solenoids. There are no options, cept ebay and swap meets.
reminds me of other '..roids' that are also a pain in the butt.

Wish I could figure out how to replace the tube that goes through the solenoid. I guess there is a small metal slider and spring inside of the tube. I have a unit that is missing that piece and the rest of it is functional. Guess I'll have to keep searching. Hey, that's half of the fun anyway :D
