How can I tell if this is an original radiator? There does not seem to be any tags on it. The fins have damage however the structure is solid. It came out of my 69 ss 396 convert. when I purchased the project. Would like to use if original, I am assuming that the fins can be fixed by a radiator shop? Thanks for any help.

Look for letter codes on the tanks.

Big blocks have 4 cores. So take the cap off the radiator and look down the inside and find how many cores there are.
