With the screwing we got by Photobucket, I'm moving on and not looking back. I have a ton of pics from the resto of my 69 that I think helped a few guys on the way, so I wanted to put them back up for anyone else that might like to reference them. If you have any questions or need a specific pic, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Here's how it all began... We've had the car since ~1982. The first pic is from the mid 80s after an 80s new 1/4s job. Pop rivets and lap welded 80% panels. What a mess. They've since been replaced. The next pics really start around 2008 when I pulled it in my garage and started dismantling it for a new floor pan etc. After many delays that saw her put in the back of the garage under cover for long periods, I finally started it in June 2016 and drove it all summer.













The born with 396 was put in the corner and replaced with this 72 Suburban 454. I pulled and sold it almost immediately with early plans to run the original 396.

In the 80s it was converted to an automatic. That's why the auto shifter hole can be seen in this pic.







Yes. This is a blue 55 gal. drum barrel... Ugh lol

After the move to Michigan, I kicked it into high gear with plans for a solid, day two driver.

New floor and 1/4s. The rockers were replaced with original 69 perfect rockers. Same with the seat pedestals.

I didn't like the way the new floor pan didn't have the seat belt supports like the factory did, so I moved them from my old floor pan to the new one.













With a little help from my oldest son...
