I’ve recently installed a 383 with an edelbrock airgap intake. My 69 originally had a throttle rod. I need to switch to a cable due to putting a Holley carburetor and airgap intake.
I need info on what all I need to make this swap. I’d like to stick to a factory style pedal but think I will need an aftermarket cable. Can anyone help?

Just FYI,
I've run the rpm air gap, a Victor JR with both EFI and a 4150 Carb, along with the stock type throttle set up. It's a heim joint rod now.

But, I'd go cable if starting over, just makes things easier I think.

Thanks for the info. I thought about buying the aftermarket pedal for a 69 with a cable. But not sure what cable will work with the pedal.
Did you run a cowl hood with those intakes?

Buy a 6 cylinder peddle assembly (with bracket), and a Lokar universal cable...works great.

I went through 2-3 "stock replacement" cables that didn't last for squat.
