Do a search. Seem to recall somebody tellin about a '66 Skylark, I think.

Also, we've beat to death that the '67 has two different rag joints in them, one for tilt that bolts on both ends and a non tilt that has the top half on the steering wheel shaft. Good luck, pdq67

Because '69 was the first year for the column lock. Many later steering colums will fit. Length is not the problem, the problems are: You need a special tilt wheel flange for the rag joint. and the lever for the column shift, or steering wheel lock varies. you can alter this as required.

I helped a friend convert a '72 Chevelle tilt column with auto trans shifter on the column over for use in his '69 Camaro.. He had to remove the auto shifter handle, file away the mounting point, fill in the remaining hole with a piece of metal and some bondo. Also he had to remove the coupler where the rag joint bolts to, from the column, and replace with the one off of his old column. After the work was done it was a perfect bolt in fit. If I had not seen the work done myself, I would swear it was built for that year/model car..
