Really depends on what car it is going on. If it is going to be used on the street at all then go with the Street Avenger with Vacuum Secondaries it can't be beat. If it is a track only car then the Double Pumper makes sense then.
Don't underestimate the value of vacuum secondaries for street use.
It is very hard to beat the drive ability on the street of a Vacuum Secondary carb with a vacuum advance distributor. Now on the track is a different story, but on the street we don't spend nearly as much time at WOT as we do at part throttle. WOT is where a double pumper really starts to shine over vacuum secondaries, so it really all depends on what you are doing.
I was just thinking the same thing. Although it wouldn't change my suggestion on going with the 770 vac. sec. But it would influence size. I'm assuming big block. But if it's a small block then go 670.
