i am putting a zz4 in my 79 z28 .the factoryexaust pipes stink . i wont to put headers and true duals om it .i dont mind having two converters on the pipes but i cant find anybody to install it .i know its against federal law but not against state law. i can get the car inspected, just cant find anyone to do the install. i know the car is an antique next year but dont want to run antique plates. any suggestion or info on companies that make true duals with cat converters would be greatley appreciative.thanks

can you buy true duals for an earlier model that will fit?
or for racing applications?
if so, you can buy universal converters, cut a section out of the xhaust pipes, and weld or clamp the cats in.
i did this for someone with a '79 'bird once, but i custom made the xhaust pipes on it. (pronounced "zawst")
or
get friendly with the pipe bendin' fools (like me).
i did this for a guy i met at a bar for $150+beer and his muffs and 'verters. after hours.
