I'm looking at a 86 Camaro. It has a new 350, automatic w/new radiator, hoses and water pump w/Holley 4bbl. The father and son bought it for the son to drive, but after the son totaled mom's car dad doesn't want him with that car. They can't keep it running said it keeps flooding out. They are asking $3000 I think they might take a little less. What do you think?
Also looking at a 85 Z28 305 5spd ttops 124,000 mi. Has the gound effects and rear spoiler to look like a 91(whatever that means). The problem it has is the trans. went out while out of town and he found a Pontiac trans that he put on, but said it was for digital speedometer so now the speedometer or odometer don't work. He's asking $2500

Unless the 86 is an IROC, its not the original motor, if that means anything to you. As for the electronic speedo, the make an adapter that converts to cable for the older cars. I will look and see if I can find the name.

Thanks, On the 86, I ask if he knew the style and he didn't, so is there just a plain Camaro? no RS Z28 or anything?

They did make a 305 CID Sport Coupe. ITs not an IROC,RS or a Z. Just a plain jane with a V-8. Never a 350 though. Post the vin #'s and we can tell you what they are/were.
