Try getting the trouble codes out of the computer. Locate the aldl plug under the dash near the computer. On cars here, it's near the drivers right knee on a Left hand drive model. You connect a u shaped piece of paper clip between the upper right two contacts ignition off. Then turn the key to on. The light will blink 4 times then pause then 2 times. This "code" is 42! It will blink this code 3 times, then go on to blink out other trouble codes. Then finish with 42 three times again. 42 means no distributor signal because the engine is not running. Write them down and post them here and we will talk more. Also take a look at the engine oil pressure, how long it takes to come up when you start, how high is it? Check all vaccum lines too.
