the boys in the Chevrolet raceshop did that on their 93 ZL1 show car (fast show car, tho)- put on the new nose, and it was suddenly a 2002. i've heard of a few racers doing it, and i think a few folks out there might have done it after a fender bender or something. new nose, hood, lights, and wiring and you should be set. best bet- find a nose on one in a junkyard that got rear ended or something, and get EVERYTHING that even bolts up close to the nose.
