ok so i own a 95
but im just wondering for the roof of our cars
how much of a difference is there between 97 T tops and 98 t tops
the later to me looks a little more sleek and rounded .... is this true,
or is it an illusion caused by stance / suspension or something?
because ive seen some sleek looking 93-97s

The Camaro body style changed a lot between '97 and '98. I doubt the T-tops have anything to do with it but I have no idea if the 2 would interchange. The '93-'97 looks the same and '98-'02 look the same...

thank you dennis on your insight i appreciate the answer, in the past i just thought the top of the newer 4th gen looked sleeker.. seeing i own a 95 i hoped that was just by illusion such as ride height or something .. so you think that may be what it was?

I pretty sure they are the same. I've seen a lot of guys swap the late 4th gen front clip and rear spoiler/hatch on the early 4th gen.

I think the door, roof and front and rear glass are the same on the 2 different styles...

The tops are physically the same and interchangeable for all fourth gens. There was some variation in the "tinting" though, I think earlier ones had a dot matrix and later were called "clear" style.
