hi everyone
i have a 98 tahoe front drive shaft has a bad u joint at the transfer case
can i take the shaft out and still drive it?

yeah, you can take it out.
and then go do some really smoky burnouts with the t-case locked in "4 lo"..

Yeah and remember this...I broke a rear u-joint,way out in the country one time...took the drive shaft out,put her in 4 HI and drove it home.Think I had the only 98 chevy front wheel drive P/U in the land!

thanks guys i just wanted to make sure before the wife and kids got in it
that and i was wondering if fluid was going to leak out.

the yoke is bolted into the t-case. you don't need to worry about the seal.
