CALLING ALL F-BODIES!!

General Motors announced today that the exciting, new Camaro convertible concept car will be on display at the Carlisle All-GM Nationals June 22-24, 2007. In 2006, the Camaro Coupe concept was the star of the GM Nationals; GM literally blew the top off it and it appears that fans will be flocking in droves to see the new convertible. Rick Markko, Event Planner for the Carlisle GM show predicts, “The new Camaro convertible concept car should draw an even larger crowd than last year. This car just screams ‘drive me hard’.”

The Chevy Camaro convertible concept debuted at the North American International Auto Show this past January to rave reviews. Only minor changes were made to last year’s design to accommodate the convertible body style. The Camaro Coupe will go on sale in 2009, with plans for the convertible later in the year.

The Carlisle All-GM Nationals are scheduled for June 22-24, 2007. This is the 40th anniversary of the F-Body Camaro and Firebird. The American Camaro Association is hosting their annual gathering at Carlisle again this year. We’d love to see a great turnout of Firebirds as well. Carlisle is a great place to have a club meet. So common’ you Firebirds and Trans Ams…join us for a great GM show in ’07! For more information on the GM event, look under event information and go to All-GM Nationals.

The All GM Nationals will be the place to be in 2007! Last year’s show set high standards for the many fans, and we are working hard to make this year’s show even better. In 2006 there was excitement from beginning to end with outstanding GM car collections featured in our Special Display Building. Bruce Larson was here with his USA-1 Funny Car. GM provided an outstanding display of concept and new vehicles, with the star of the show being the concept Camaro.

We have an exciting new show planned for 2007. We are going to take you back to 1957. What better way highlight our show than to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1957 Chevy! The ’57 Chevy is earned its reputation as a legend and one of the most popular vehicles ever produced. We are planning a BIG celebration of these vehicles with both a special display and we would like to have a HUGE gathering of these vehicles on our showfield.

We are not stopping with just the ‘57 Chevy. ALL GM vehicles manufactured in 1957 will be featured in 2007. Imagine our Special Display buildings FULL of all 1957 GM makes and models. It will be exciting to see.

Meet Neil Tjin on one of the Tjin Edition Tour stops – Neil Tjin is one of the most widely known custom compact builders in the nation; he is sponsored by such companies as Honda and Turtle Wax who are helping to bring the Tjin Edition Tour to life. At the show you’ll get a first-hand look at the Tjin Edition Pontiac Solstice and Chevy Cobalt and take part in some interactive games that Neil himself is composing.

AND if that’s not enough, 2007 is the 40th Anniversary of the F-Body Camaro and Firebird. The American Camaro Association is holding their annual gathering at Carlisle again this year. We’d love to see a great turn-out of Firebirds as well. Carlisle is a great place to hold club meets. Don’t miss this awesome display of some of GMs finest automobiles. C'mon out and join in the excitement.

Do not miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime! If you own a 1957 GM vehicle, please contact us to become an important part of this historic event!
