Currently I have a 350 30 over, Comp 280H cam, EB intake, MSD IGN and Iron stock 1.94 intake heads( all I could afford at the time ). I can't remenber what the numbers are but they are 76cc's. I believe it comes out to around 9:5.1 ??? The pistons are .023 in the hole with a .039 gasket = .062 quench. The pistons are 11cc domes. Thats all the info I have.....

If I went with a GOOD head how much would I HP gain? What would you reccomend?

I recommend AFR heads. They outflow any other head on the market and you can't beat the weight savings aluminum offers. I'd say its good for 75-100 hp over stock. Go to http://www.airflowresearch.com/

Not a 100% match but I went from stock(400) home ported heads with 1.94/1.6 valves, est.9.5:1 compression with 76cc chambers to 200cc Protoplines with 2.5/1.6 valves, 72cc chambers so compression was act.10.17:1,box stock heads, went 7 mph and .9 faster in the 1/4. No other changes
I est. that at 75+HP gain.

really! That much? What do you think I would be at with those heads and roler rockers? What CC would be the best? 180, 190, 200 ect?

Pro action heads are really good, they're the 2nd auction. The first auction is superflow heads and I cant remember his name but he shows up on here everyonce and awhile... he is Hotrodusa. anyone know if his website is up?

Any good modern aftermarket head will give you BIG power over the heads you have. On a budget, iron eagles or vortecs are great, middle of the road it's hard to beat edelbrock or canfield. Up the budget, AFR and Brodix.

Even those iron eagles or vortecs will give you 50-75 HP.

Are the pro heads bare? Thats pretty cheap for a complete head.

Yes, those heads are bare. They state that they are bare, and no valves ever shown in the pictures !

Depends on use.
180's for the street and mild performance
190/195's street/strip
Both are approximates for a 350/355 and your cam.

Don,t over look the EQ Lighting heads. They are coming out with a vortec head that is drilled to use the old manifolds and old style valve covers.
