Any ideas on what these two holes are for? I've seen photos of the one next to the steering column hole but never anything attached or screwed to it.

My.02 is Firewall pad was behind it.

Thanks for all your feedback. I knew I was forgetting more...

I have seen photos of the lower hole and at least one photo with what looked like a screw coming from the interior. I looked at every page of the AIM with no luck.

Same with the hole under the wiper motor hole, no screws though.

Any guesses?

I think the lower one is for the V duct. Not sure about the one by the wiper motor.

Yep, that's it. Thanks. I need to think more outside the box...

I'm beginning to think the hole below the wiper motor is just a manufacturing remnant of some sort, not used to screw anything to it. It looks like the motor covers it anyway.
