Ok, i might slide the new comp282s into the 327 today to measure for correct pushrod length and it occured to me that the lobes on the cam are going to wear a certain amount. this is my first experience with a solid cam, so my knowledge is limited. My question is:
If i measure for correct rod length now will it eventually change as the cam wears in or is the amount so little that it won't mess with the geometry of the pushrod to valve?

p.s. i'm using comp roller tip rockers and guideplates

No problem. Rocker arm geometry is not that sensitive. The valvetrain will wear in slightly but not as much as you are assuming. If it is good at startup, it will be good when fully broken in. You might need to check the valve lash again after 500 miles or so but the geometry should be fine.
