There was a couple of guys that thought it would be interesting to put up picutres of BM camaros up on the site and I was supposed to a while ago, but finally got some time so here they are. Below is a brief description of the car. I will attempt to attach some pictures so please put up with my lack of computer skills if they do not show up right away.

1969 Baldwin Motion Phase III RS-SS Camaro 427

This is an original 20,000 mile, unmolested, not restored, B-M Camaro. Each B-M Camaro was special ordered and no two are ever alike. This car recently completed the Camaro vintage verification at Carlisle and got "Legend" status. This car has been in my family since 1981 where my uncle bought it for $8500.00

The Camaro was heavily optioned from the factory as a RS/SS (X-22 style trim), 10-10 paint/interior (Black/Black) code that was special ordered, Muncie M-22 “Rock Crusher” 4-speed, 4.11 posi, power brakes, front disc and rear drum, manual steering, buckets, console, AM radio, rear speaker, custom interior, tinted glass, wood grain steering wheel. Motion Performance added the reworked 427 complete with 950 CFM 3 barrel carb, headers, electronic ignition, heat resistant plug wires, traction bars, air shocks, and Hurst shifter.
The car is heavily documented with POP, build sheet, and letter from Joel. I am looking for orginal pictures of the car since it was supposed to have Cragar SS wheels and I would like to verify before I put them on.

Re: Baldwin Motion camaro pics

Thanks for the help. I should know how to post pics and this helps. If anyone has picturs of the BM camaro that is going to be in Hershey at the car museum, please post some pics. I am trying to get a count of how many of these cars are out there. The new Motion book showed me a couple I was not aware of, and I am sure there are others. So if anyone has pics, please post them.
Thanks.

Re: Baldwin Motion camaro pics

There was really small modifications done to the car over time. It had speakers put in it with an 8 track, but have the original radio. Headers rusted out, but have the originals. Went to a pointless dist, but have original. Basically small stuff, and if it was changed, have the original parts to put back on. I was told the car had Cragar SS wheels, so the wheels are not original. Trying to verify so i can buy a set. Have a couple of pics from 1980's. Actually looking for pics prior to this from the original owner. Car was in Helan Lapp name, Buddy was possibly her son that bought the car. She was originally from Elyria OH, but it is Westlake sticker on the car as well.

Re: Baldwin Motion camaro pics

I was one of the guys inquiring on the pictures of you Baldwin Motion Camaro. I tell you that is one AWESOME looking car. I had saw a few pictures of it on the yenko.net site from the Carlisle show, but it is great to see some more in-depth pictures of it. I love the black and red. It looks so mean. I hope to one day met up with you and see your car in person. Do you have any plans of attending the big indoor show in Chicago in November or the next SuperCar Reunion? I'm planning on attending the show in Chicago for sure since it's one that is hard to beat and it's somewhat close to home.

Re: Baldwin Motion camaro pics

Thanks for the compliments. I am going to try and at least go to one major event a year, more if possible, but with work and family it is easier said than done. As of now, it is away for the winter. Was going to try and go to Chicago this year, but with family plans, it was not feasable. I am going to try and go to Chicago next year and have made the early plans to do so, if anything i hope to meet many next year there.
