This is actually a question about my truck, but a BBC is a BBC, so I'm guessing it would be the same for a truck or Camaro.

I have a 460 in a '68 SWB. It came out of a '68 3/4 ton that was a factory 396 with power steering. Those trucks use a remote resevoir which looks stupid because is bolts to the fender well. I sold that pump on eBay for some good money ($183) and I'll looking to put a pump on this motor that has the resevoir attached. I'm moving the alt from the driver's side to the pass side so the height won't be a problem. What I'm having trouble with is knowing what brakets to get, what pump to get, and if I can use my stock short water pump and pullies, or if I have to get a long pump and diff. pullies. Anyone ever go from man to power steering and knows what I need???? That would be great. Thanks!
