One of the mag's recently had an article in it about a new Camaro being fitted with, I think, 315/35-17's on the front.
Will these fit, or do you have to massage everything to get them on???
Wow, it seems like a heck of a front tire. pdq67

DjD,
It would help if my darn magazines weren't all over everywhere when I go to find one.

The article is in the Sept, 2000 issue of Chevy High Performance, (Pro Touring Shootout 2000).

The car is a '96 Camaro with American 17" x 11" rims and 315/35-17's on them all around.

I guess I just don't know enough about these new cars.
But that sounds TOOOO big on the front but must not be. pdq67

Why would you want to put that big of tire on a car? That makes no sense. 275 is the biggest. If they did that would ride poor, can we say rebuild front suspension.

Also, how long would a power steering pump last turning meats that big? I'll stick with my 195/75x15's on the front of my 68. :)

315/35-17's on the front? That's got to be a misprint, and Super Chevy is known for their lack of correctness (go do a Super Chevy search at Team Chevelle's board
). I've got the 315's on the back of my chevelle, and there was only one size bigger I could've gone (335). Let me tell you, that is a BIG A$$ TIRE! about 12.5" wide. I can't see the practicality of that on the front.
