i just did a conversion from th350 to a muncie,now the brake pedal almost hits the floor its very close to the floor,is there anyway to adjust or anything i can do,when i go to press on the brakes it comes like a half inch or less of hitting the floor or firewall.the brake pedal sits very low.i have power brakes

There is an adjustment on the pedal,up under the dash.there should be a pin in a fork that goes around the pedal arm.Remove the clip that holds the pin,pull the pin, move the pedal upwards out of the way,unscrew the fork to desired length( there may be nuts to lock the fork in position that will have to be loosened). You can stick pin back in pedal and check to see if its where you want it before you do final reassembly.Once you have it where you want it, reassemble in oposite order.

I assume that when you converted, you had to get a clutch pedal and new brake pedal. Did you get the right brake pedal for the year of your car? The 67-68 brake pedal is different than 69, as is the underdash bracket that the pedals attach to. If you have a mixed group of parts, you can get issues with pedal height.

Using a 67-68 pedal on a 69 bracket makes the brake pedal very low. I think vice verse makes the pedal high.
