Good evening, guys, I put new brakes(disc) on the front of my Camaro, new brake booster, proportioning valve, new stainless lines through out. Rear are the drums. when I hit the pedal I can almost lock up the rear brakes. What do I check?
Which brake design? GM design or aftermarket with integral proportioning /distribution block? If GM design the round valve under the master is a metering/hold off valve, not a proportioning valve. Did you bench bleed the master? Did you put the brake pedal rod in the correct hole? Is the intermediate rod the correct lenth? Is it a disc/drum master?
