For those of you who run bronze distributor gears in your street driven Hotrods, I have a few questions for you:
1. Are you using the normal splash oiling for the bronze gear/cam gear, or are you using the pressure fed gear idea from having a small slot in the bottom of the distributor housing?
2. How many miles do you typically get out of a bronze gear?
3. What is your particular method for determining when it is time to change the gear?
