I've been working on installing my interior and came across a little diddy that may be of help to others. I have the original uncut kickpanels in my car. They are scuffed (as many are). When I disassembled them for cleaning and such, I used a "0000" steel wool to "buff" the plastic. This removed the little nibs of plastic that are gouged out and stick up and did not change the appearance of the panel at all. After cleaning and waxing (using black trim wax), they look almost new and the scuffs are barely noticable.
