Hi everyone, I have a original 327. The radiator has started leaking (after 20 years) and it will need to be replaced.

Is it possible to get a aftermarket or junkyard replacement that will work with a LS1 and the 327? Im planning an engine swap within the next few years and would prefer to not buy 2 radiators.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Dual pass radiator is one having thr coolant pass through the core twice on its jorney,

Inlet tank has a wall midway so as coolant enters the core, goes through half the core, then takes a turn and goes through the other half of the core - dual pass radiator.

This is why Todd suggested a swivel housing as inlet and outlet are on the same side.
It would be nice if an opposite OE housing was made along with an opposite molded hose to make the install look like an OE configuration.

Yes, you can use a newer radiator, be creative with some mandrel bent tubing for the upper hose.

Thanks, and good idea with the tubing. Turns out the leak was from the upper hose but this radiator is 20 years old so Im sure its gonna go soon. Hopefully it goes the day Im read to drop in the LS1. : )
