Bought the 8000 RPM tach and 140 MPH speedo repops for the 69, as well as a center gas guage and spent the afternoon stickin' em in and can't make the tach work. I went back through the wiring twice and it's done just like the instructions. The thing that's different is it has a M6A MSD ignition and distributor. Does the tach brown wire now have to be hooked up somewhere other than the - side of the coil? The car already had an AutoMeter tach in it and it works. I notice that there's a green wire that apparently goes from the box to the AutoMeter tach and thought of hooking the factory tach's brown wire there, but don't want to run the risk of frying a brand new one.
