After 2 1/2 yrs at the body shop waiting for paint, my 69 camaro is finally finished. I had my wheels picked out, but when i went to order them last week, they are now discontinued. www.groupawheels.com/snyper.html They are still on the website, but they are no longer making them I was told. This is the type of wheel I'm looking for but I'm having a hard to impossible time locating an equivalent. I'm looking for 17 x 8 x 4.75bs fronts and 17 x 9 or 9.5 x 5.5bs rear. I found two wheels that are similar at www.hvydeez.com, the 5 star in the endless series and the gt sport in the exposed series, but i cannot get this place to answer the phone or respond to emails. Any help on finding some wheels for the ride would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
bl

hopefully i did these pictures right...
I like the gt sport, but they are quite pricey and don't show a 9" or 9.5" available for my rear wheels...
I like the 5 star and the price is right, the center cap is the only thing i'm not particulary fond of. Let me ask one more thing... from all that i've read... is this accurate...
i've got 4 wheel disc brakes...
17 x 8 x 4.75bs, and 17 x 9.5 x 5.5bs.
no fender lip roll
thanks

My vote is for the Sport GT's. Of course I might be biased since I have them on my 67!:D

thanks ... its been a long road to paint. I'm going to the body shop today for the last time hopefully, put my wheelwells in and bring her home. I'll post some good pics as soon as i get her together again. Oh yeah... the guy in the picture is my painter, who does amazing work, just don't get in any hurry to get it done cause he does the old car stuff on his spare time... and he's got 3 kids, high school age and younger, so we know he's got tons of time....

The intro GT sport, Boyd "rebel", and many others look very similiar. Good, strong five spokes are easier to find, let me know if I can help anymore. I sent you a PM.

bl1work,
Nice looking car. OT- but my mother lived in Lawrenceburg for a while, and also Pulaski. I have looked at places around Campbellsville, and am currently trying to buy one in Leoma (Fall River area to be exact)
I get up that way a good bit, and next time I come, will try to giv you notice. Will buy you a Coke, cup of coffee, etc and maybe talk cars (Camaros of course) a bit.
