Has anyone tried to change the color on newer cloth (say 97 camaro) seats? If so what did you use and how did it turn out?
Thanks

I dunno about seats, but I just did all my seatbelts with Plasti-Kote "Fabric Color" dye. They say it is for seats, rugs, etc.....

I'm changing my 68's interior from blue to black and figured that if I couldn't dye the originals I'd have to buy replacement belts anyway. So, to save the $400 I gave it a shot!

Well, this stuff is "on there"!! It covered in two applications and dried in about 2 hours.

Might be worth the $5 a can for you to try it???

I have heard other people say they have had
good luck dyeing or spraying plastic parts
or vinil parts that do not move (like kick
panels or door panels). I am just trying to
find out if someone has done this with
usage parts like cloth seats.
Thanks

I think I'd give this stuff a try as a cheap way to dye seats, my seatbelts look fine, don't transfer any color, and are as supple as they used to be!
