Hey guys i have what is believed to be the original to car neutral safety switch.
on the AAW harness has two heavy guage purple wires. One says fromignition switch the other says to starter solenoid

what i would like to know is which wire gets hooked where on the switch harness? One wire is purple and the other is gray

It really doesn't matter which purple goes to which terminal.

It doesn't matter electrically, but your schematic will show you which one goes to which place. My guess is the purple wire goes to the starter solenoid S terminal or a connector headed that way. You really need to look at the schematic.

I cleaned mine up and reused it with my swap. It doesn't matter which wire goes where. It's a simple open close switch. I tested my for continuity before I reused it.
