One of them should go to a good ground and the other goes to the contacts on the fan relay. If they're not marked black and red, connect them with jumpers to the battery and check the fan rotation so you know which is positive and which is negative. I'm not sure where the fan relay on your car is located. A good repair manual will show you. Some of these relays are triggered with a seperate coolant temp sensor and some are triggered by the ecm. Again a good repair manual will show you the way.
