So I did my research and all the documentation shows that the correct 68 J52 disc brake master cylinder is #5460346 with a WT stamp. I ordered one from HBC that said it was correct. What I got was a #5460346 with a PG stamp. From what I find from searching is that this is a corvette MC.

Here is the question for the experts: I am replacing a perfectly working disc brake system with authentic GM accurate 68 components because I want the car as original as possible. So do I need to complain to HBC (since the ad clearly stated a WT stamp) and ask for a replacement?

I'll refine my question: would a PG stamping be considered a "service replacement" for a 68 or is it just wrong?
