Did the words "Cowl Induction" appear on any version of the 69 Camaro Cowl Hood? I have seen Cowl hoods Emblems on Chevelle's but have not seen them on any Camaro’s. Is that because they were never built that way?

Thanks.

No, "cowl induction" was not used on the Camaro. The '69 Z-28 had "302", and I think the '69 Yenko Camaros had "427" on the cowl induction hood. There may have been more, but these are the ones I can think of now.

Here's real reason those emblems were not used on a 1969 Camaro. "Cowl Induction" was a marketing term first applied to the optional 1970 Chevelle SS hood. The ads for the 1969 Camaro refer to the optional hood as "Super Scoop", ordering info calls it "special ducted hood."

Check page 35 of JMs 1969 Camaro book.
