I hope not, I was aquainted with a car that has the track record there, at the last event. If it reopens, the record goes bye bye
it was a 5.20 or something
(Fuel dragster in the 80's) Just fast enough for CT record, sadly no where else

Just signed it for you man. Wasn't going to because I'm not from up there but it said "Everyone was Eligible". Good luck man. Everyone needs a local drag strip.

COME ON EVERYONE!!!!!! JUST TAKES A SECOND, IMAGINE IF YOUR LOCAL STIP WAS CLOSED OR YOU DIDN'T HAVE ONE AT ALL. I'M LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE 3 WITHIN 45 MINUTES OF ME 4 IF YOU COUNT ENGLISHTOWN.

WOULD YOU RATHER HAVE THEM RACING ON THE ROAD WHERE SOMEONE CAN GET HURT OR KILLED. THINK ABOUT YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND EVEN THE PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW. NO ONE NEEDS TO BE HURT BECAUSE OF STUPIDITY. WE ALL NEED SOMEWHERE SAFE THAT WE CAN GO TO TO BE STUPID IN A SAFER WAY

NOW SIGN IT!!!!!!

I signed it last week! (Saw a post on the CTFBA web site.)

I'm all for a strip in CT! I'd like to see them go NHRA instead of IHRA but I'm not sure if that will happen, especially since the cars they sponsor are IHRA.

In any event, I have to saw that re-opening CT Intl is probably a no go. My uncle was part owner in that strip, Dennis Fredo (The Fredo Bandito). My cousin, Dennis JR. still runs a dragster in the IHRA and he's heard rumors of the Indian's building a new strip as well.

Well, let's hope they work it out!

Congrats on the record 68ragtop!

Regards,
Rob
