I'm restoring a '68 that I bought as a shell, i;e almost everything was missing. When attempting to install the dash vent kit I realized I'm missing the pieces that go between the valve assy. and the rubber piece that screws to the firewall/rain well. That part is as rare as chicken lips and unavailable. Is there a reasonable facsimile anyone has tried?

I've seen them on ebay sometimes, mucho dinero tho.
Some have used "dryer hose"

Thanks for the suggestions. A fellow at Steve's Camaros told me a lot guys use the flexible heat-riser tubing you can get at Autozone or Napa. I'll try that and let you know.
