OK, I asked this question last month and was told that the code numbers were on the passenger side / top of axle housing.

Mine didn't have any numbers at all. Changing the bakes and suspension so I have it up on stands. Stock was mono leaf, this one is multi. Obviously it was changed out.
Inside the ring gear has a Richmond stamp with the numbers 82-0627
The stamp on the back of the pumpkin is 3969341 NF
I was hoping to find out what gear set this car has but don't know how to find out

Thanks in advance.

If you already have the rear cover off, just count the teeth on the 2 gears and divide. If the last set of numbers on the ring gear indicate the teeth, divide 27 by 6 and you get 4.50. If the gears seem deep, that may be correct.

Or just raise the rear, put in neutral, rotate rear wheel one complete turn, and count how many times driveshaft turns. less than 3= 2:73, just over 3= 3:08, 3 1/4= 3:31, 3 1/2= 3:55 and so on. Oh yea real important make sure you block the front wheels.
